About The Team at Baked Poetry
Each and every team Member at Baked Poetry is both valued and vital to both the smooth running of our business and your enjoyment as a Customer. Each has been carefully "hand-picked" for their skills their attitude, and their life values. Each would be sorely and sincerely missed if they ever left our Team.
We present them here in random order.

Georgina
Georgia was born in Croatia.
She lived in Melbourne for many years, and met Lollo and Robert whilst working at the Crocodile Hotel in the Jabiru National Park, Northern Territory.
She moved to the Sunshine Coast and joined the Baked Poetry Team in 1999 and is now a critical part of our Team. |
Julie
Julie is a born and bred in Queensland.
She is
Mother of two, and loves art, crafts, home cooking, gardening, and reading.
Julie lives in Doonan, and is a vital part of our Team. |

Carina
Carina was born in Sweden. She speaks five languages and has lived in many different countries. Worked on a number of cruise ships, then ran her own Restaurant in Noosa for some fifteen years.
Naturalised Australian. She's adamant that Aus. is the best country in which to live because of the peaceful lifestyle, the sense of freedom, and the happy people. She has three beautiful children.
Loves working with Baked Poetry, and is a vital part of our Team [She says it's a shame about the Boss!]. Passions are chocolate and Yoga. [In that order] |
Mary
Mary joined our Team some seven years ago as a kitchen hand, but her talents for baking soon became apparent and she now works in the middle of the night to bake delicious treats ready for our early morning Customers. She is now indispensable.
Born in Denmark, lived in England, now lives in Australia with her husband and two beautiful children. She is an artistic gardener and a Yoga devotee.

Sandy
Sandy has been with Baked poetry for some 7 years. Before this she owned and managed two Tile Shops for over 12 years, so she's very comfortable around people! Her interests are travel and cooking.
Her fellow workers see her as the Baked Poetry "Shining Light" and we see her as an essential part of Baked Poetry. |
Jodi
Jodi, our youngest important Team Member, lives in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
She loves music and partying with friends. Her passions are photography and travelling. She hopes to travel the world with her partner who is an accomplished Trapeze Artist.

Marco
Marco is of Italian descent and has been with Baked Poetry for 4 years. Before coming to us he lived in Gympie and worked as a Social Worker. He now works with us Part Time as his main focus is professional Communication and Broadcasting.
He has just Graduated from the Sunshine Coast Uni as a Graduate Radio Journalist and, fortunately, is still an essential member of our Team.
Marco is a accomplished percussionist and is very busy with local gigs. |
Anita
Anita joined Baked Poetry when we instigated our Deli section [due to her extensive experience with delicatessens], however we soon realised that she was an excellent Coffee Maker - so she soon became one of our very valued Baristas.
She has a relaxed and pleasant personality and no task is too arduous, so she's very popular with both Customers and the Team.
Anita was born in Switzerland, has travelled South America, and has lived in Australia for the past 30 years. Her loves are her two children, husband, hiking, cooking and yoga.

Alison
Alison is our real all-rounder and long-term vital member of our Team. Ceramic Art is her passion, and she strives for perfection in all she does.
Her art mirrors and displays the inspirations gained from many years of world cruising aboard a sailing yacht. |
Ines
Ines was born in Uruguay and has been with Baked Poetry for some one and a half years.
She's not only important to Baked Poetry but she's considered the funniest member of our Team and is always the source of laughter.

Leonie
Leonie is a true-blue Sunshine Coast Resident. Great sense of humour! Loves cooking, music, and animals. She's essential to Baked Poetry.
Leonie is the Golfer of our team. She is the nine-times holder of the Ladies "A" Grade Tewantin Golf Club Championship. [She claims she'll soon hold ten! She also wants it to be known that she's single!!!] |
Eva
Our newest valued Team Member. She has Italian and Swedish parents, and is a real Sunshine Coast girl who loves surfing and music.
She is a recent Yoga convert and loves music and Natural Healing. Eva is currently studying and hopes to soon hold a Diploma in Natural Therapies.
Her radiant smile is a real warm-welcome to our Customers.

Kate
Kate started with us as a Casual but has now been a valued member of the Team for some 3 years. Katie is renowned for her always-good temperament and "nothing-is-too-much" attitude to life.
She is currently carrying out Part Time Studies in Human Resources at Qld Uni. |
Lollo
The Ship's Captain and owner! Lollo steers the ship through any weather nature has at hand.
Lollo and Robert share a beautiful son and daughter, and have created Baked Poetry whilst raising their two children..
Born in Germany, Lollo has lived in Australia for some 15 years.
Robert describes her as a "Mathematical Whiz!"

Owner. The Baker, the Genius behind Baked Poetry, and the Idea's Man!

Robert was born in Germany and has lived in Australia for 26 years. He and Lollo started Baked Poetry in 1998, and in a recent "Travel Tips" write-up was described by the Journalist as "a German version of Basil Faulty", a badge he wears with pride! |
Our Cafe is located in the beauty and tranquillity that is Peregian Beach on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland.
The tree-sheltered space that surrounds us is a safe and happy place for children whilst you relax and enjoy your coffee or meal, and and safe patrolled beach next door allows true "holiday-mode" enjoyment.
